Celest slightly chuckled as she rubbed the back of her head. She grinned, careful not to expose her fangs, and said, "Ah, it's nothing, really. No need to thank me. We girls have to look out for each other. Besides, the other girl saved you first."
So she climbed down the fire escape just for this, cute.
She felt the unease in Kathrine and along with the that, the chill of the wind blowing through them both. She added, still smiling, "Want to come in? It's kind of cold out there."

Celest walked into the kitchen and let the teen get used to the place. It was just a simple dwelling, all the fixes and designs were done by Celest herself since when she got the room, it looked like an infested rathole to her. With her slightly rusty knowledge of Architecture and Design to back her up, she redecorated and gave the room a bit of life. The room was minimalist in design; the walls were white, the furnitures had the color schemes of gray, black and white with a small tinge of red, everything was simple in its own way. Just by the couch was her guitar and amplifier that Celest had been playing earlier. "Can I get you anything? Water, soda, juice, coffee... beer? No, scratch that last one." Celest asked, hitting herself inwardly. Celest's apartment (sort of)

Celest almost choked on her coffee when Kathrine asked her questions. True, she has not aged beyond 18 and she had stayed in this apartment for that long, only moving out every now and then until there was a new owner, so she would not raise suspicions.

"Yeah, I've been here since I was a kid, although I didn't go out that much before...." she lied.

As soon as she heard the crash of the cup on the floor and Kathrine crying out in pain, Celest stiffened in her seat. The blood of the girl trickled down her finger freely and its scent invaded the vampire's senses. Oh shit...
Celest remembered she has not gone out to feed that night, and this was like an open opportunity to do so. But her control, which was teetering dangerously off the edge, held her back. She could feel her fangs slightly lengthening but tried to order them back. If ever she could see herself in a mirror, she knew her irises were changing back and forth to their normal hues to red.
Mustering all the control she had, she stood up and quickly took her first aid kit. "I-It's alright, it's just a cup. I have p-plenty of those. No need to worry." she said shakily.
Wordlessly, she took the girl's hand and inspected it. The cut had gone a little deeply, making the blood flow. With trembling hands, she cleaned the wound and wrapped it in a sterilized gauze to keep it from bleeding. She did it quite quickly but carefully, still keeping her control in check. After that, she began picking up the broken pieces of the cup, seeing the 'culprit' piece still tainted with Kathrine's blood.
