Jacob laughed softly at her words, shaking his head, he knew how ridiculous some of the things that were in the media were, others ironically were very accurate. "I can't transform into anything, although I've known of vampires that could.. My training is mostly just physical training, much like humans do, lifting things, running.. You know, nothing spectacular."

She nodded thoughtfully. "I see. And restrictions to your kind, the holy water, garlic, daylight? And the whole sleeping in your native soil thing...are these things fable too or are they actually anethema to you?" She knew that Jacob was the exception to the norm as far as vampires went. At least this was her assumption. Had his disposition even been remotely what she woul dhave expected from a vampire, she could very well have been dead by now. She shifted on the couch to face him and streched out an arm across the back. She was becoming more and more fatigued as time wore on and would need sleep soon. Despite her fatigue she was loath to let this night end. She had no illusions that they were fast friends and once he left she could well never see him again.

Jacob shifted around on the couch, making himself a bit more comfortable as she asked another question, he could see the fatigue in her eyes and smiled softly as he answered her. "Well, I really don't know about the holy water thing, never had any thrown on me, crosses don't do anything as far as I know, and as for sleeping I sleep like anyone else... In a bed.. Daylight, thats one of the few things that the media over the years has gotten right." He laughed softly to himself. "Would you like me to go so you can get some rest?"

It was interesting listening to him, but she was having increased difficulty keeping her eyes open. "Oh Jacob...I don't want you to go, I really am enjoying getting to know you but I am tired beyond belief. I really am exhausted though and can't seem to focus very well..." She hated to have this night end but as it was she probably wouldn' t be opening the garage until after noon. Being the owner though she didn't figure she would get fired. "I guess it is well to know when to end a good thing." She rose to her feet and straightened her shirt. "Let me show you out then Jacob. I hope you find what you are looking for." She walked to the door and opened it seeing that she had forgotten to turn off the garage hall light.

Jacob smiled sweetly at her words, nodding in understanding, He knew she more than likely wasn't used to staying up so late, after all most people tended to sleep when he was up and about, and it was a testament to her will that she was still in the mood to talk to him. "It's no problem I can always come back some other time." He stood from the couch waiting for her to lead him out. "After you Calendrea."

She led him to the door and down the stair case into the garage. As she moved in the darkness, she wondered what the future would bring in terms of ...she didn't quite know what to call it other than friendship. The events of the past two days certainly had run a gambit of emotions and she found the whole experience hard to categorize, at best. She was under no illusions that Jacob epitomized vampires' attitude toward humanity. Had she met up with another of his sort it would have turned out much much worse.
Turning the light on once she reached the large garage she moved sleepily toward the man door. "To sometime in the furture then Jacob. I hope that your fortunes imporve...at least you can feel secure in having a good ride."
