Kain smirked mockingly as he stood there. His facial features defiant and mocking at the same time. Slowly Kain would bite the very tip of each finger, starting from his pinkie and moving to his thumb last while muttering. "You shouldn't talk about someones pregnant wife." As he finished nipping the thumb he would quickly flick it out in front of him. The few droplets hardened and sharpened into small knives. In the same moment Kain suddenly shifted out of view to appear out of the shadows behind Rayne, the blood at his finger tips would quickly form whips.
Kain would take his hand, moving it across swiftly, causing the blood whips to lash at the the area of Rayne's back quickly. His face feral and enraged. The shadows almost seeming alive around.

Rayne stands there as she notices Kain's warm breath hitting the back of her neck softly. Sighing deeply she mutters softly "I wasn't aware that she was". She closes her eyes tightly at the feel of his whip going up against her clothing causing the to tear slightly causing her tattoo to be reviled slightly from under her skin.
She sighs deeply and turns around slowly as she lets go of her dagger and stares into his eyes. As she calms down her eyes and hair slowly changes back into their original colors. She bows down slightly and mumbles under her breath "Kain ... Forgive me ... I didn't know the situation before hand ..." She sighs deeply and stands up straight once more only to look at him in the eyes once more as she swallows hard to dampen her dried throat.

Fletcher sighed at this seemingly waste of time. He wanted to be on his way and this argument between the two was becoming tedious. He yawned and waited for Kain to wrap it up. There was really nothing to be gained here. "Let's go Kain." He said, coaxing him to get a move on. He then addressed Rayne "If you don't know all the facts then don't say foolish things. Don't lump every turned vampire in the same boat as you. You are lucky I don't need to feed. They say ignorance is bliss. Well that is true except when you meet me. Remember that." Fletcher wasn't trying to insult her just warning her for future reference.

Kain looked more annoyed then ever. He was seriously wanting her dead now, his eyes burned with a passionate hatred that seemed to be the cause of the liquid gold behind the orbs set into his head. She had the audacity to challenge him and then back down like that. If not for Fletcher's want to join the coven Kain would have ended her pathetic life right there in that instant with out given a second thought as to why he shouldn't. Kain looked up at Fletcher a moment, his eyes much like liquid gold gemstones set into his head, "Very well Uncle." With those words Kain looked at Rayne, she had struck a cord with him and to say he was angry would be a gross understatement in every term of the word. "If we ever cross paths again, I'll kill you." He promised before shoving her to the side. "Zen destroyed my world, but gave me more then I could ever dream of, including a heart. To live is to adapt, do not make this mistake twice..." He snapped the last part and continued walking. He had been the nice guy to her once, but she broke the camels back with her actions just before.
Kain found it interesting how bad he wanted to kill something now, he was quite literally twitching to kill anything that walked by his sight. He wouldn't care what it was. A deep growl seemed to be embedded in his throat ass he felt emotionally hot. Suddenly in a surge of motion Kain would hit a brick wall with full impact, causing his fist to make a rather large impact on the stone which busted it up well. He then continued walking. "Move it Fletcher." Kain hissed grating his teeth, he had tried so hard not to slip into blood lust and now he was there and needed to kill anything that walked in his path. It was as if he was alive to kill, the need consumed him, his internal fog heavy and thick. Almost everything was blocked out from this reality being cast by the blood lust haze.
His fangs sharp and requiring substance, tonight Kain desired to feed more then anything. The urge was upon him and it could almost be felt around him. He had been exercising great control before this and now Rayne had completly ruined it with only a few words. Kain took one more step before freezing as he stood stone still, the overwhelming rage took his mind and he was unable to calm, unable to think. He knew if he took one more step he may just lose all sanity he had left. Kain didn't breath, think nor move. His overwhelming urge to kill all rendered him at a momentary stand still as he fought internally to keep moving. 'Come on move Kain!' He demaned his body in his head as he twitched again.

Rayne sighs deeply and nodded at Kain's threat trying not to resist the urge to roll her eyes at him. Looking down at her feet she as she feels Kain's strong aura of anger wave off of him as if it was a tsunami hitting hard against her soft skin leaving mental scares against her.
Rayne wanted to know more about his relationship with this Zen person but she kept her mouth shut and just watches him struggling down the street. It made her heart ache slightly as she watches him shaking her head she turns and walks down in the opposite direction. If we ever cross paths again, I'll kill you his words caused Rayne to shiver slightly but she will never forget them as they were impulsed into her mind with punishment ink. Slowly she reaches down into her pocket and notices that she had Jacob's address still in it. She stops in her tracks as she reads the address slowly as she mesmerizes it she slowly wades it up in her hand as she makes I tight fist and continues to walk a steady past down the sidewalk. Hoping if she does met Kain again that thinks between them will go down more smoothly and that he don't intend to kill her like her promised to.

Fletcher walked after Kain and shot a glance over at Rayne. He read her like a book and could tell she was upset by what had been said. He thought she deserved what had happened though. He then shrugged slightly to himself and continued his trek behind Kain. When Kain punched a wall and stopped Fletcher could tell that Kain had reached his limit. "Would you like me to fetch you some food?" Fletcher offered. He didn't want to see Kain in pain because he rather liked him and thought he was pretty funny when he was in an unstrained mood.

Kain paused there stuck and motionless as he tried to pull toghter whatever sanity he could manage. It was like trying to contain the entirety of the fog into a small package, Finally Kain's hair went dark and his eyes reverted back to there rippling green color. Kain looked to Fletcher with hard look, truthfully he was exhausted from having to control himself to such a huge degree. "I'm fine. Lets go." Kain answered though now he felt starved and in even more pain then he had before.
Kain would nod before he continued to walk on under the nights sky. He would feel rather thin from having to stretch his control to far, he had in fact reached his limits for the night.

Fletcher watched as Kain forced himself back into normal form. He hadn't seen anyone push themselves out of bloodlust form in a long time. Fletcher was very impressed that a new born would be able to do this. He watched Kain as they walked and Fletcher followed him all the way back to the Coven.
