For the first time in a very long while Kain had left the confines of Zen's coven to walk the streets. The last time he had done so he had a heart beat and had been alive. He would glance at various places that should feel familiar to him, however it seemed like a distant memory and somewhat alien.
Kain slowly licked his fangs as he could sense many living humans on his internal radar, it wasn't a radar like from a submarine, it was more like a connection of senses that told him the position of everyone in a close ranger to him. True it was very fuzzy, after all he was new and unexperienced so all he knew was food source was plentiful. Momentarily Kain looked at a cafe, he hardly remembered it, however he believed he used to get warm drink there. Now he had no use for consumption of such products. Kain would amble on trying to hold back is lust for blood. "Hmm." He muttered to himself as he walked along quietly.

Fletcher walked casually along the rooftops looking down at the humans finding them all very dull. He was thinking about starting something that might be fun when he noticed Kain. He saw that Kain was different.
The slight pain Kain was in, looking like he holding himself back. How he seemed more alert than he had in the park. The blank look on Kain's face as he looked around not seeming to really see anything.
What really drew Fletcher's attention was his new complexion and his new scent. It smelt a bit like the old Kain but with a new twist. Fletcher knew that Kain was now a new born. Fletcher continued to watch from affar to see what Kain would do.

Kain was slightly different from when he was alive, not only was he a bit paler, but his hair was darker, his eyes looked like like rippling pools of emerald, similar to tropical waters. Kain now had fangs which hungered for living blood, Kain however would hold himself back a great deal. He would resist the urge to gorge himself on blood.
The sites all seemed highly vibrant and alive, this was something Kain was still not used to. He just walked to keep to himself, to keep his mind distracted from all things blood. He would work on the radar system which could have been less then a good idea, however Kain picked up on someone not to distant, not a human. Glancing around a bit he would then look towards Fletcher's location up on the roof top, staring at the spot Fletcher would be for a moment. Trying to determine familiarity with the vampire, it wouldn't click in Kain's head, mortal life seemed to be hazy at best. A side effect of being new born was the loss of human memory, or more like fuzziness.

Fletcher watched as Kain looked up at him and wondered if he recognized him. He knew about the effects of becoming a new born since he had come across quite a few on his journeys over the years. Fletcher hoped Kain remembered him because he had liked Kain even when he was a human. It would be a shame if he was forgotten.
Fletcher shrugged. "Only one way to find out I suppose," he murmured as he walked to the edge of the building and dropped into a nearby alley. He walked to the opening of the alley and looked at Kain again hoping he would take the invitation.

Kain would look at Fletcher for a very long time when he jumped down near him. Finally Kain turned fully towards him, his eyes defient and seeming to somewhat glow faintly. "I know you." He whispered moving forward. Despite the memory haze Kain was quick to learn, but placing a name to the face proved a challange. With an ease Kain would walk over to Fletcher, his eyes scanning the pure blood. "Hmm...yes I know you." He said with a bit more volume to his voice, normal talking voice.
Kain only wore his normal clothes, he had his sword at home for now, the last thing a new born needed was a magicly enhanced sword. "Hello...Fletcher." The name had taken awhile to pull from the vast fog in his mind, but Kain found it, even if by luck.

Fletcher watched as Kain made his way over to him. He was slightly surprised that Kain had been able to remember his name. "Hello Kain," he responded as Kain walked over. "How do you like being a new born?" Fletcher continued to watch Kain's movements. He found interesting that Kain would subject himself to this much torture. It seemed very difficult to keep it under control. Fletcher had only really lusted for blood twice throughout his long lifetime so he really didn't know what it was like.

Kain watched the vampire before him carefully. "Well.." He thought for a moment, really he only pulled Fletcher's name out of the blue, it kinda surprised him. "Well it's different. To say the least, I hardly remember you or anything of my past life, even knowing my own name seemed foggy at first...I know its been awhile though." He said and watched Fletcher carefully with a pause in his thoughts.
"Most of this city is only vaguely familiar..its almost alien..and...well exactly what I suppose it is, a past life." His eyes tracked off to the side as he watched someone walk across the street, licking his fangs again. Kain was starving as he had yet to taste live blood. "How are you unc- I mean Fletcher.." Kain asked as he pulled his eyes and attention to Fletcher.

Rayne was walking away back from the cemetery where she encountered the vampire named Jacob. The charming vampire that may as well just made her fall into his arms and take her away from this lonely life. Letting out a soft sigh she shakes her head and continues along the sidewalk.
As she turns the corner her eyes widen as she sees the two vampires discussing something. Quickly she steps back into the ally hoping they didn't see or sense her. Closing her eyes tightly she tries to remain calm so there wouldn't notice her presents. Peeking around the corner slightly she noticed the two of them and sighed deeply trying to make out their appearance through the foggy night. "They seem ... Somewhat familiar" She mumbles slightly do herself as she turns back and stares at the over building in front of her as she listens into their conversation.

Fletcher watched as Kain reacted to the nearby human. He could tell Kain was in a lot of pain. This only further interested him. "I see. Well it's too bad you don't really remember me. I guess we will just have to get to know eachother again. I am fine. Just doing what I always do. Looking for things to learn."
He then picked up a scent that was different and yet he knew it. He glanced over to where the new scent was coming from and saw Rayne peeking around the corner. He pretended not to notice and looked back at Kain. 'So she is here as well,' he thought, 'This night just got a lot better. More things to do.'

Kain had picked up on the other presence, but paid them no direct heed, not a threat at the moment. Kain focused all his attention upon Fletcher, "Indeed. This is why I am taking you back to my coven with me." His voice held no other option for argument. He knew that his tone would interest Fletcher enough to agree with him for the moment and to come with him. Kain doubted force would be necessary.
Kain would cross his arms in a some what stand offish posture, finalizing the decision. It wasn't that Kain was calling Fletcher out, he was more or less demanding he come with him. Though Fletcher could run or attempt a fight with Kain, but Kain was not afraid of these possibilities, merely the only thing that interested Kain at the moment was dragging Fletcher with him. "You...were right..much to learn." Kain muttered beginning to remember Fletcher. "A pure blood would help..." He nearly whispered as he looked at him.

Fletcher was indeed interested by the tone Kain had used. He wouldn't have passed up this chance anyway even if Kain hadn't demanded that he go. "I wouldn't mind going to the Coven. It would be an interesting event indeed." Fletcher let the words come out casually not wanting to sound too eager.
"I do have two questions before we go though. First what would a pure blood help with?" He wondered what Kain could have meant when he said this. It didn't really worry him it just poked at his curiosity. "My second question is what should we do about our visitor?" He made a small motion toward where Rayne was. He really didn't care if they confronted her or left her. Fletcher was kind of interested in seeing what would happen if they did talk to her but it paled next to the idea of going to the coven.

Kain gave a genuine smirk at Fletcher's readiness to join his coven. Perhaps Zen might be pleased by this. "Your older then me aren't you? Do the math." He laughed thinly a bit, "Ahh I'm sure we'll find uses." He showed a bit of fang. By now the torture was reaching it's limits, so much so his eyes shimmered green in the darkness, his hair a lighter shade, almost gray. Kain shook his head quickly to snap out of it. "Well now our visitor..Hm..Thats up to her." He would finally acknowledge her existence by looking her direction.
Kain was testing his limits, seeing how far he could stretch himself before he was forced to give in on instinct. He was also saving his first feeding for someone special, whom he was not sure. But he wanted to be drawn to a specific person rather then just feed. He had read about blood flavors and wished to find his own through this means.

Fletcher laughed softly "Yes I am very much older than you." He watched as Kain struggled to keep his composure. It must have been extremely difficult for Kain to hold himself back this long. It amazed Fletcher. He wanted to stick around Kain to see what would happen and who he would finally choose to feed on.
He then looked in Rayne's direction as well and waited to see what she would do. Would she take the invitation to come over or would she chicken out? Fletcher knew he would take the invite if he was in her spot but since he wasn't he just waited and wondered.

Rayne jump and curse to herself as they seem to noticed her. With a deep sigh she shuffles her feet and stand there facing them with her head hung over looking downward at her feet. Taking in a deep sigh see noticed and recognized his voice. Something was different about him, his scent wasn't as what it once was. she swallowed hard to dampen her dry throat. Dreading to look at Kain eyes to eyes once more.
She slowly steps towards the two she still stares at her feet and the slowly raises her head to look at both of them. She looks at Fletcher first still not wanting to look at Kain directly, she now realized that he was changed like herself. She sighs and manages to say something "Hey Fletcher, long time no see" her voice sounded as dry as her throat was and as weak as her non beating heart.

Fletcher gave a slight nod to Rayne as she walked over. "Hello. Are you feeling better than the last time we spoke?" He examined her and she seemed to be a bit better than the last time they met. He kept Kain in the corner of his eye to watch him just in case he did something. Fletcher didn't want to miss anything about this new born.
