She forces a smile "No its not the steak... I just hope you won't mind... If I'm wary around you at all times." she then cuts the steak, using the knife and fork. She puts a piece in her mouth and chews blinking. "this is good! you should be chef." She smiles truly the joy reaching her eyes for a split second then it vanishes. she finishes the steak in a bit, wipes her mouth and picks the plate up going over to the sink. After washing the plate she looks at him "where does this go?" She chuckles tiredly.

Jacob frowns slightly at her words and shrugs. "I suppose it's alright.... I would never hurt you unless it was in self defense, and even then I wouldn't do any serious damage.." He smiles slightly a light blush creeping over his face at her compliment. "Why thank you... When you live so long you take up alot of skills and hobbies to pass the time." He glances over at her turning in his chair to watch her wash the plat, he points to the cabinet to the right of the sink. "Right there."
He lets out a soft sigh and stands, moving into the living room to sit on the couch, he yawns slightly, glancing out the window, seeing the first signs of dawn in the distance. "Hmm... Its about time for some rest."

she nods putting the plate away "thank you. I feel safer.." She smiles at him, before shifting and changing. Her skin with a light tan, eyes a sky blue and her hair black. "time to mingle with the humans" she smiles. "Have a good nights rest, Jacob." She goes out the door "I hope I see you again soon."

Jacob nods and smiles softly at her as he stands, moving to the door he opens it and speaks softly. "Im glad, If you ever need a place to stay, feel free to stop by. Goodbye Kora." He gives he a wave as she wanders out his door, with a soft sigh he closes the door and locks it, heading back into his bedroom to curl up in bed, slowly drifting to sleep hiddin from the daylight.

Jacob yawns as he slowly awakens, squirming slightly in his bed as he glances at the alarm clock on his dresser, Mumbling to himself. "Ugh....only eight o'clock, I was hoping for later.... well, at least the sun is down." He sits up on the edge of the bed and runs a hand through his hair, sighing softly he stands and heads to the bathroom to brush his long black hair out, cringing every so often as he hit a rat and carefully brushed it out.
He walked out of the bathroom and slipped on his trench coat, taking in a deep breath of the female vampire he had met last night, Rayne Morte was her name... and she had been on his mind ever since, He didn't understand it but he felt a strange connection to her, and he wished to find her again, Also... he was hungry, his thirst was in need of quenching.
He opened the door to his apartment and walked out, closing and locking it behind him, he let out a soft sigh and glanced around, not to many people were on the street. He let out a soft sigh and went downstairs, there was a girl who was maybe twenty that lived just below him, he had fed on her before and oddly enough she didn't mind, he told her of what he was and all about his life, Her name was Jessica, he enjoyed her company and had asked her on more than one occasion of the past few weeks he had lived here if she would like to be turned, He felt odd when he was with her, she treated him like any human would treat another human, even when he fed from her she didn't seem to mind.
As he knocked on her door he let out a soft sigh, smiling sweetly as she opened it, The girl smiled and spoke in her sweet and soft voice. "Hi there Jacob, how are you, Oh! where are my manners, come on in." She stepped out of the way and motioned him inside, happily he followed. Jessica closed the door behind him as he entered.
Jacob sat down on the couch and she followed, wearing her usual tank top and shorts, what she usually slept in from his knowledge. "How have you been Jessica?" He asked as she sat down beside him and smiled. She replied, he voice changing somewhat to a sultrier tone. "Oh, I've been fine...I take it your hungry Jacob?" He rolled his eyes slightly at her tone, They had been together a few times over the past week and in his opinion she wasn't overly impressive. "Indeed I am.... I must be going soon so I hope you don't mind if I just feed and be on my way."
Jessica smirked and tilted her head to the side, she knew she would be able to guilt him into getting what she wanted the next time he came around so she left her neck exposed and sighed softly. "Oh, Alright... But you owe me."
Jacob sighed softly at her words and nodded, he rarely fed from humans without getting their consent to do so, which in his case ended up owing more than he was happy to admit a favor or two, even if they were human, he treated them as equals, not simply a food source. "Very well..." He scooted closer to her, he could hear her heart pumping the blood through her veins as he neared her, leaning forward he opened his mouth and with a quick application of pressure sank his teeth into her neck, sucking softly at it as he drew mouthful after mouthful of blood from her, after a few moments he pressed his tongue to the small holes on her neck, waiting for the blood to cease its flow before pulling away.
Jessica sighed softly holding onto him gently as he fed, after it was over she leaned back on the couch, always feeling tired after he fed, she spoke softly. "Could you take me to bed please..."
Jacob nodded and carefully lifted her into his arms in the same manner a parent might do with a small child, he let out a soft sigh and carried her to her bedroom, softly setting her down on the bed before pulling the sheets back and covering her up, he placed a single light kiss on her neck where he had bitten her and smiled. "Goodnight, Jessy." He whispered before slowly walking out of the room and apartment, making sure he locked the door on his way out.
He headed down the steps of the apartment building and finally to the sidewalk where he went to his car got in, revved the engine a few times and headed off down the road, in search of the beautiful female Vampire that had lingered in his mind for all this time.
