Wolf found himself slumped over with his hands in pockets, things were not going as planed and it was annoying him. Wolf was in a bad mood. He would stand outside the local bar, only to feel his phone begin to vibrate.
"This is Wolf."
He would answer, only to hear a very familiar voice, wolf would grow silent as he listened to the words of his father. "....Well...if the doctors say it's cancer then...Well no I don't know....Vampires? Werewolves? Look you got brain cancer, forget the doctors you moron." Grunting Wolf stopped so his father could talk. His father was in fact under the belief that if Wolf could locate vials of vampire blood at a military base then he could be rid of the cancer. "Look dad, I'll look into it, no promises ok...bye" With that Wolf slammed the cell phone shut and then tossed with enough force to shatter it in the street. With an annoyed shove Wolf would barge into the bar and take a seat alone in the corner, making a gesture for the bar tender.

Calendrea was in a bar hopping mood that night. From the 'Long Way Inn' she had wound up here. Despite having started the night in another bar she was not in the least drunk. It wasn't the alcohol she was after but the socialization. And this late at night the one sure thing she could think of was the bar scene. She would be able to get something to eat, mingle with strangers, and listen to music. It would beat sitting upstairs over the garage all night complaining that the only thing on TV was Dancin with the Stars and American Idol. She despised television these days with a passion. And although an avid reader, she just needed to get out.
Crossing into the bar she sat at the counter and ordered a draft. Sipping the dark beer she cast her eyes about the room checking the scene.

Wolf sat there contemplating, it had been awhile since he broke into a military base, about a year. That incident that caused him to re-think most everything he knew. With a slight sigh Wolf ordered a bottle of rum and sat drinking until he had a nice little buzz, bobbing his head occasionally as he tried to relax. "Oh man...it's gonna be an early grave for me old Wolf.." He muttered to himself before taking a long swig of rum. He remembered how the creatures had torn the local area up, and shards of silver laying around. His mind still wondered about the significance of the event.

Her eyes flitted from one patron to the next. not as bold face staring, she was more polite than that. Her observationskills were more honed than that. But she could esily have reported some detail or another about every person curently within the bar. Take for instance the man in the black suit. He had been into his cups a bit much for one evening, or she was no judge of people and half blind to boot. It was no great marvel to pick a drunken man out in a crowd. Bythe bobbing of his head she half expected him to keel over into the floor any moment. She looked away several times but was still keenly aware of him. She did not like to think of him passing out. It alwys bothered her when people got that drunk. Two of her dad's brothers had died from the creature...one from choking on his own vomit while he was passed out., the other from liver failure. It made her sad just thinking about it. Aspirating on your own vomit because you were too drunk to stop it...pathetic. Alcoholism ran hard in her family and truth be told she tended toward that herself...

Dammit... Celest cursed over and over in her head as she ran down the street going to the music bar where she was about to perform that night. She knew she was late, the reason, she did not realize how much she needed to feed that night. Her vampire instincts took over and she took too long before she had her fill. As soon as she went round the bar, the guard saw and recognized her, letting her in immediately. By then, Celest began to unpack her guitar and the manager came running towards her. "There you are! What took you so long? I thought you weren't coming, you had me worried, Silence.""I'm very sorry, I had to take care of some things... It won't happen again.""Alright, alright. Good thing there are still performers that went before you, if not, I would've had an empty stage and we never had an empty stage before! Just get ready and I'll be introducing you next."Celest just nodded and began to tune her guitar a little backstage. She knew what she will be playing, now she just needed to wait for her turn, plugging in her guitar on the amplifiers. She then heard the last band finish and the manager going to the microphone, saying, "That was one fantastic performance, give' em a hand, people! Now, we're going to have something special tonight, folks. Give it up for Silence!"With that, Celest started to play on her guitar as she walked onto the center of the stage. As soon as she was in front of the captivated cheering audience, she began to sing. We all have a weakness But some of ours are easy to identify. Look me in the eye And ask for forgiveness; We'll make a pact to never speak that word again Yes you are my friend.
We all have something that digs at us, At least we dig each other So when weakness turns my ego up I know you'll count on the me from yesterday
If I turn into another Dig me up from under what is covering The better part of me Sing this song Remind me that we'll always have each other When everything else is gone. Song she is singing (just imagine a girl singing this):

Thankfully the bands were changing again. This last one, though not horrible, was much less than 'Searching form Page 5 Girl' over at The Long Way Inn and she was begining to wish she had not started hopping about and had just stayed put. Still, it had gotten a bit dicey over there and she supposed she could put up with mediocrity in favor of safety. Absentmindedly she turned her eyes to the MCee, a cheesy little guy, with a cheesy pencil thin mustache reminescent of the 1920s who even sported a finger wave hairdo from the same era.
So it was with a little bit of trepidation that she turned her attention to the stage once more. As the first tones of the guitar Calendrea perked up a bit thinking at least the performer could pick the guitar. As soon as she heard the woman's voice spring out from the microphone she was hooked like the rest of the patrons who were familiar with her works. She had always liked Incubus thinking that they were way underrated as a band of musicians and poets, But she outdig them in this song, no one could deny. If this dive had talent like this on the stage she just might have to make this a new stop on her route of places to hang.

Celest continued to pluck at the strings of her guitar, smiling a little as she could smell the blood of every person in the room. The delicious scent of excitement almost made her thirst for blood again, but no, she was here to perform, not to feed. She was here to what she always wanted to do and that was to make music. She continued to sing, each and every lyric was let out with the passion she felt inside. We all have a sickness That cleverly attaches and multiplies No matter how we try. We all have someone that digs at us, At least we dig each other So when sickness turns my ego up I know you'll act as a clever medicine.
If I turn into another Dig me up from under what is covering The better part of me. Sing this song. Remind me that we'll always have each other When everything else is gone. She was nearing the end of the song and she had to step back a little since a few of the patrons were already starting to climb up the stage, reaching out their hands, almost grabbing out for her. Fortunately, the bouncers came out to keep the crowd in control. Celest knew she had to wrap this up. Oh, If I turn into another Dig me up from under what is covering The better part of me. Sing this song. Remind me that we'll always have each other When everything else is gone.
Oh each other.... When everything else is gone. With those ending lines, she strummed the final notes of the song and said on the microphone, almost silkily, "Thank you, you've been a wonderful audience and I hope you enjoy your evening... Good night...""Encore! Encore! One more song, Silence!" The crowd shouted. But Celest already bowed and started to exit the stage. After that gig, she knew she needed a drink.

Smiling to see the reaction of the crowd she didnt know how the young woman was able to remain so calm and pleasant. Something like that would have freaked her out to no end. But then she was not a performer and had no desire to be in the spot light. Still, she could also undertand the alure of such a life. She tunred to the bar and sipped her beer nursing this one indefinately.

Haru sat by one of the tables quite close , sipping a glass a whiskey slowly, watching the hustle and bustle of the club, and listening to the bands playing. He wasn't a usual guest of clubs of this sort, finding the idea of so many humans packed in one place not appealing. But,seeing as the night outside wasn't really that exciting, he decided to give it a shoot, and found himself in here. So far, he guessed, it wasn't so bad. He could have a nice drink, listen to some music (although the bands thus far were so so in his opinion) and have a laugh from all the drunk fells he saw. Plus, some of the girls he saw were quite...tasty looking so to speak. One piqued his interest significantly... the blond girl which came here a bit after him, and now was siting by the counter sipping on a beer. She was quite an eye catch by her looks...and she had a most interesting aura surrounding her. She was in her element her, so cheerful,so cofident...just how he liked them. He pondered on how to start a conversation with her, but was slightly distracted by the next performance. It was a single woman, but different from all the other's in here... He could feel it very well, she was a fellow Vampire. one he didn't know from his Coven, but that wasn't such a big surprise. He smirked slightly as she started sining...such a lovely voice, and an even better physic... someone like her probably had humans offering themselves for her "snacks" all night long. As her performance ended, he cheered along with the crowd, even going as far as whistling as loud as he can,and sending a little wink to her. A bit to prise her, a bit to mess with her... never know what kind of reaction you could get. Taking a look at his glass, he aw it was empty. Seeing this as a good opportunity, he made his way to the bar, and took a spot next to the blond girl he noticed earlier. He spoke to the bartender " Another Whiskey please" before turning, to her, and asking in a rather nonchalant manner "That Silence sure knows her work, doesn't she?" before flashing her his treadmark grin

Calendrea turned at the voice of the man as he sat down next to her. She had seen him earlier, he had been one of those fans of Silence's that had applauded enthusiastically. She had particularly noticed the whistle he had given, which has casued her to target him with her eyes just as he was giving the singer a wink. Clearly the man was having a good time this night.
Smiling she nodded and said, "I know I enjoyed listening to her. A real treat in this town tonight." She reached for her glass, which had had time to produce quite alot of condensation and was slippery in her hand. She had to smile though seeing his flashing grin. He looked to be somewhat of a flirt to her, not that that was a bad thing. She chuckled slightly. Lord knew she had done her fair share of that.
The next act began to play and it was a boy band, four members, and they were doing covers of Peter Frampton, very poorly. It was enough to make her signal the bartender for another dark draft. Hastily downing the one she had before he got back she began to wonder if Silence would have another set later on. She hoped so. As the band began to mangle "Do You Feel Like I Do", complete with synthetic voice mike, she thought she was going to die.

More then annoyed, Wolf sighed. His quiet bar had turned on him. Though he could be social when occasion called for it, now was not the time, he did not like the music which had started since he showed. Standing with ease, he did not seem drunk in the slightest. Giving a slight grunt Wolf turned leaving the minimum of money and would walk out, he wouldn't bother complaining.
How had the bar turned into a 'hip' out o no where bothered him. He just wanted a quiet place to collect his thoughts, to be free from his duties duties as whatever he might be hired for. Leon walked out side and leaned against the wall outside, clearly he would need to find a much quieter place to hide out at. Maybe some target practice would be good.

"You're kidding, right? Seriously?" "No, I'm not. One more song, Silence. As a little 'payment' for being late. Come on, you stirred up the crowd with that last song. What's the difference of another?"Celest groaned backstage as she talked to the manager. The man just ' ordered' her to play one more song, either that or not get paid at all for that night's gig. The agreement was just one song, that was all, but her tardiness made her pay the consequences. She was aware of the so-called unwritten rules of the bar and she knew she had to abide by it, no matter how much she wanted to just sit back and have a drink just like everyone else. Thinking back for a minute, she tried to remember the scent of all the people that were in the room. Two scents, however, stood out among the rest. One was from that man who whistled out loud and winked at her. Something told her that he was of her kind, but somehow, different. She just could not put her finger on it. The second was from a woman, a blonde-haired one, for she smelled so... energetic, so full of life, Celest could almost taste her blood, even if it was just from one whiff of it. Putting those thoughts aside, somewhere in the back of her mind, she wished that he was here with her, performing onstage by her side. Jhin...She glanced at the performing band finally ending their cover of "Do you Feel like I Do" and shook her head. She had no choice, she was up next, again. As soon as they left the stage, she walked towards the microphone, still with her guitar on hanging on her shoulder and said to the crowd, "Looks like I'll be entertaining you again tonight with one more song...""Yeah, finally an encore!"Celest looked longingly at the beer bottles the people were holding. Then as if her desires were heard, the manager walked onstage and gave her a bottle of ice-cold beer before exiting again. "On the house, Silence! Give it your best!" he said while giving her a thumbs up. She just smiled and took one good swig at the bottle while the crowd cheered once again. After taking one satisfying drink, she placed the beer bottle down, positioned her guitar once more and picked at its strings. "Just another cover from Incubus. Just sit back and drink up, loves..." she said, then she began to sing again. She looked on eagerly as Silence retook the stage sitting up straighter to fully appreciate the song she would sing. But then with the first chords of the melody she choked and set her beer down quielty with deliberate slowness. It jsut had to be that song...
Memories welled up within her of Richard. The way he looked at her, the feel of his touch upon her body, his honey tounged words causing fire and ice to build up in her. Only he had been able to bring her so fully alive. This had been their song, and momentarily she heard him seinging it round the fire, playing his guitar in the summer nights...Tears welled up...it all ended tragically when he ws walking home one night up the railroad tracks.
Getting abruptly to her feet she threw a fiver on the bar and went outside. She hadn't been prepared to be assaulted so vividly with the past. Part of her moving to the city was to be able to avoid their old haunts...their old friends...she leaned with her back against the wall and heaved in air in gasps.

Wolf was stressing, this was not really like him, he usually held a cool and professional attitude about him, but his fathers call caused him to wonder. In most of Wolf's life his dad had been the hardened strict military type who didn't leave room for superstition like Wolf did. "Leon in battle you have no room for superstition or hocus pocus. forget what you saw and move on."
That had been his fathers voice when Wolf had told him the macabre horrors of his last mission. Wolf still shuddered when he remembered the torn steel and carnage that day. Wolf wanted to reach for his breast pocket for his gun, some target practice might help clear his mind. "Wolf get over it! Ghosts, and beastly phantoms are nothing more then stories, no magic, nothing. Just the gun and you." He muttered to himself just as he leaned his head against the cool stone of the bar. He would stand there as someone walked out of the door, eyeing them from the corner of his eye, It had been the one watching him earlier, and then the singer to.
