Leon took one deep calming breath before as he pulled the pin and loosened his hand around the grenade, he then waits a fraction of a second before kicking in the apartment door in with a swift kick and tossing the flash bang in. He would then in a swift motion move against the opposite side of the door as a loud blast could be heard, and light seemed to brighten the hall. "Freeze! Get down And hands on your head!" Wolf barked loudly as he quickly scanned the room. Regardless of what he said he would draw his hand gun and then Wolf fired shots off and managed to hit the the leg of a few individuals who didn't comply with the order, they would then fall to the floor cowering in pain. Walking in Wolf picked up a brief case and looked inside it before he closed it once more and glanced at the individuals and took time to straiten his tie. Wolf gave a slight nod to those groaning in pain one the floor with a calm smile. "Jordon Vells says hello and its been nice doing business with you. Gent's have a good day." With those words Wolf walked out the door and quickly down the stairs, crossing the street to a waiting car which rolled down it's window. Wolf gave them the case and saluted a little, the red car reved the engine a bit as words were exchanged. "Don't worry, I took care of everything...And I'm sure you don't mind my help. I'll let you know if you need any other favors I can help with." With that the tiny red car speed off leaving Wolf to his own devices. Wolf began to walk down the street looking up at the night sky with a soft sigh. "The life of a lone wolf.." The sound was a bit sad and alone, Leon would like to work in some sort of team, but he had decided recently that he was better off alone, which he told himself wasn't so bad. 'With the recent attacks I cannot afford to be close to any one. I am Wolf..No..I am Leon, I do not deserve the title of White Wolf...That man...Hide..he would only find me a stupid thing. The world is so...diffrent' It felt somewhat disheartening that Wolf could no longer hold his symbol of White Wolf, like his name had been taken away by a mythological being. No Leon had nothing to have to his own, he felt like he lost a part of himself that night to the man named Hide. A broken sigh passed Leon's lips, as he thought to himself. "Leon...The Loner.." He muttered withing he could add White Wolf to the sentence, but he could not. It would be to disrespectfull.

His steps pressed against the cold, cracked pavement. The air felt cool upon his somber face; refreshing in its own right, but in truth he could not have cared any less for it than the very filth that walked the city's streets with him. Had he any love for the simple things - nay - anything in the illusion the mortals called "life", he would not have been sincere to the truth of who he was; and this, he was so sure, that he had learned that last night spent with Her. Calendrea, her name at first a blessing and at short last a curse; she had the beauty of a Goddess, the heart of a Saint, yet the folly of a child. It was She who had torn down his emotional wall, She who had made him feel what he thought he had lost so long ago, once upon a moonlit night; and it was She, who had so abruptly after, rebuilt the wall and thus taken away what little hope he had within his lost soul... to ever love again.
His gait brought him past the bar in which they had met, on the opposite side of the street. Most of the building's windows, if not all, were shattered and broken; there were bits and pieces of glass scattered thoroughly across the cracked grey path infront of the entrance. Yellow tape had been secured around the property since he had last seen the place; it was wrapped around the perimeter of the building in an unusual abundance, or at least more than he had ever seen in his lifetime. Clearly, the authorities had discovered the twisted corpse of the "gangbanger". Such a shame, that he should be killed so brutally; so easily. Nevertheless, he didn't stop to bask in the memory.
For a time he walked on, his face entirely devoid of any visible emotion, and with his hands tucked firmly into a slim, black trench coat. The world had never seemed so bright, yet so dull before; it was a very surreal experience, to say the least. Had he never met the blonde-haired, blue-eyed "angel" that night... never saw in her eyes that same spark he had seen so many times when he stared into the face of Yuki in his youth, he would not have felt so... alone. The Lycan turned a corner on the late night street, passing a run down and out of luck flower shop. His black leather shoes stopped in their tracks. There and ahead stood the 'Man In Black', White Wolf, from the second bar. "Leon...The Loner..." he had just barely heard through the thin concealment of a mutter. Mm... now what - or rather, whom - was that about? There was something that he could not gather from this man; something beneath the surface that he was not picking up on. He would find out what. "White Wolf," he called to the miserable male down the street, his voice reflecting a calm and relaxed tone. "You remember me, don't you?" he asked as he walked toward him, slow and paced. Now, if he remembered correctly, this man had once attempted to shoot him... to kill him? or to simply wound him? It was no matter. If he was smart, he would keep his weapon in its holster for the time being. If he wasn't, well, it would make for an interesting encounter, he supposed. In any case, he was not going to let this chance to speak pass by.

Wolf never minded being out at night because sky usually seemed so clear as of late. The stars shone down from the heavens like diamonds placed against black satin. There was hardly even a great deal of wind, just a little puff now and then. he would think of how so many things seemed to be more peaceful and quiet during the night, more serene. the effect was calming but Leon was unsure why he had begun to enjoy the night so much, perhaps it was the fact that it was desolate and less busy, not as loud as it was during the day. The night allowed a man to think and be alive with his own thoughts, which tended to get pushed to the background during the day. Perhaps it was the sudden realization that giant wolves roamed the subway system and the town, maybe subcounciously wolf knew he stood a better chance of surviving by sleeping during day and then being active at night. In either case sleep during the day had become less and less rare and being active by night seemed to be the norm now.
Leon had been contemplating his life when he heard his alias, to which he turned around only to spot Hide not far from his location. Wolf's first instinct was to reach inside his breast pocket for his Nighthawk custom .45 caliber, but he stopped mid way seeing as Hide didn't seem to be threatening him currently. Leon wondered what 'The Real White Wolf' Might want, perhaps to make more fun at Leon.
With a sigh Leon looked at him and replied calmly, "Yes Hide? And if you'd rather you can call me Leon." The words felt restless, Maybe Leon had grown used to being called Wolf and now Hide had smashed that in a few brief seconds. Leon lowered his arm so that he stood straight but in a somewhat neutral position, he was still a good distance from Hide, hopefully there would be no aggression, Leon doubted that he could destroy a wolf bigger then a truck, not that he entirely wanted to. That and his good luck rounds weren't loaded into his hand gun.

He stopped no less than a good seven feet from the man. The wind puffed in a small spurt, lifting his air and casting it over his eyes. He lifted one hand from the deep pocket of his coat and up to his face, deftly wiping the few strands of hair from his optics and sweeping it behind his ear. "Leon it is, then," he said with the barest hint of irritance laced in his vocals. There was an uneasiness between them, a tired and stressed bond of sorts; but why is it that he found himself so drawn to the human race as of late? In Calendrea he had found an uncanny resemblance to his long lost love. In Wolf - 'Leon' - he found something that eluded him and, ultimately, disturbed him more than anything before. As though he hadn't enough problems, he had revealed himself to mankind as a Lycan, or perhaps better known as 'Werewolf'. It was a wonder to his mind, how the place was not riddled with news of the incident. Was it not in the inherent human nature to be vindictive? to be misunderstanding to that which they do not understand? If Calendrea and this man had not been just that, he was dealing with an entirely new breed altogether.
He stood staring into Leon's tired eyes, as though he thought he could find the answer to what it was he was seeking... hindered by the problem that he didn't know what he was searching for to begin with. "You know what I am, do you not?" he asked him, low and flat in key; it must have sounded like more of a statement than a question. He was asking what he already knew was true, but it was as though he needed to hear the answer himself... an answer from the very mouth of the person in question. His blue eyes seemed to twinkle a moment, a moistness developing around the rims of his lids. "You know." His voice dripped from the thin, pale lips of his mouth into the darkness of the night. Speak, human, for there would be no aggression this night. Not from him.

Wolf looked at him for a moment as he thought of what to say, something about hide demanded respect from Wolf, and he was unsure why it was. In whatever case Wolf was unsure if he could even turn his back to Hide, this would only serve to perplex Leon. Looking back into Hide's eyes for a long while he listened to Hide's question only to roll his eyes and laugh. "Look family history aside, I was not the only person to see your...change in demeanor...So insanity really isn't an option" No not the right wording but it would serve it's purpose in reallying the secret message that Leon was perfectly aware of Hide's special abilities. Suddenly Leon felt a stammer in his heart, his breath felt short and laboured, perhaps Hide's doing? Leon forced calm over his body and willed it to comply, a trick his dad had shown him a long while ago.
Leon struggled only a fraction of a second before turning and walking, making a gesture for Hide to follow him. "Father always said to not dwell on one thing to long and to always continue to move on. So I accept you for what and who you are." Wolf said very clearly and strait forward as he walked, the fact that Wolf walked forward was not a sign of disrespect, rather of trust. 'Only turn your back to you best of friends and allies, enemies can never be trusted to not be watched. '
Wolf's dieing fathers words always rang in his head, perhaps it was Wolfs want to save his father that kept his mind focused on the old man. Kept bringing up old lesions and teachings of his dad.

The corners of his lips twitched upward to reveal two long, white points; the canines of a wolf: fangs. As Leon began to walk, so did he, staying at an eerily matched pace; step to step in unison with either of the man's legs. "Your father must be a good man." he told him to his back, keeping his clear blue eyes on the back of Wolf's head as they walked. It didn't matter where their destination was, he didn't care. Rather than looking to the future, or back on the past, he wanted to set his eyes on the present for once. A sense of serenity washed over him and he sighed a short breath of release. It felt not like he was walking with a stranger, but more like a member of his pack; and the peaceful disposition between them was set in his mind from that point on.
He didn't say anything for a while, but kept his pace with the mortal. "... I can sense something in you, Leon. You are driven by something - I can see it in your walk." These quiet words swept from his mouth, a whisper to the man's back, but nevertheless, audible if he put his ear into it. The Lycan could only wonder of what his story was. Sadness? was it betrayal? for what reason was he in the city, and what did he hope to gain? For all he knew, he could have been a simple city man born and raised. Only speculations were possible at this point. But if he had not lost all knowledge of the human race, he was sure that there was something special inside him. He stared at him, and for whatever reason he thought that he could smell the scent of soil; but it had left his senses just as quickly as it had entered.

Wolf continued to walk, really he had no destination planned. He just walked in a brisk, but casual pace. For once he felt a little closer to someone then usual, not showing his calm professional attitude as much as he usually did. Suddenly Leon came to a very quick stop. "The night I met you...I had been at the bar for a drink, but before going in...my dad called. He is dieing from cancer." Wolf let the words roll from him, there was something in his voice, an octave that tried to hide his feelings. "I've always been the superstitious one in the family..because of an incident awhile ago..Up until this city I thought I had gone crazy."
Wolf would reach into his left breast pocket and remove both a flask and a folded piece of paper, which he handed to Hide, it would contain a journal entry from Wolf's encounter at a military base. (bio History)

"I can assure you. You are not crazy, not yet." He stopped, taking the piece of paper into his hand and unfolding it to read:
"The creature looked to be more beast then man, however it stood on two legs at times, a thick course hair ran all along its body. It would ravage the near by guards and continue it's rampage near my location. I thought I would be next...But then..What seemed like a man jumped from the next story up, how it ever could without being injured I....don't know. But the two stared at each other before lunging to kill the other, the speed was fast and furious. The one who seemed to be a man with dark hair had somehow fended off this monstrosity...I recall the name dog as if it was an insult..And leach. I heard gun fire and steal clash before silence gripped the small out post. When I had come out from behind the box a mangled corpse lay beaten on the floor in a pool of blood. A silver shard sticking from it's body, along with silver rounds.. Could it be the silver had a part in this? I can't conceive what theses beasts were.. But they seemed to be looking for what I was...special rounds which give off a faint glow. I have...confiscated a few myself."
"I see..." he said under his breath, his eyes rolling from the paper to meet with Wolf's. He extended his hand with the paper forward, and said with cool and relaxed vocals, "I know what that creature is... It is an immortal, much like myself. It is the result of when my kind 'infects' one of yours." He stopped for a moment, only to take in Wolf's reaction before continuing. "... Wolf. Your father has cancer. What if I told you that you could make that disappear?" he asked, flat and cool as per usual. He couldn't be sure if the human would catch on to his intentions, but he was interested nonetheless.

It somewhat proved to excite Leon to think that him and Hide thought on the same level to such a degree, Leon had been leading Hide that way by giving him the note and telling him of his father. Hmm that night at the bar my father lost it in out phone conversation. He wanted the blood of an immortal, didn't mention your kind. Wolf paused to wipe his forehead tiredly as he pocketed the page in his pocket and inhaled the cool air deeply. Leon still wore his usual attire of a suit and tie, he kept a cool professional attitude around at almost every time, it was what Leon was raised to do.
"Now do you mean that saving him would take life style changes? Would they not be to difficult?" Wolf seemed somewhat perplexed by this as he looked at Hide and then kept walking with a semi brisk pace. Changing his father to become a half beast creature, what would remain?
Leon paused a moment thinking and then smiled a bit before Cooley saying,"You want to know about me...Well I'm sure you care little for human affairs, however. My mom's family is rooted in mafia, and has some interesting stories, as does my father. However.." Wolf paused again with a somewhat bigger smile set upon his lips. "So does my fathers side..Oh things of the men in my family...changing.." He chuckled mildly and watched Hide for any reaction.

His nostrils flared with amusement. Of course his father wouldn't have thought of his kind: after all, why a Lycan when it could easily be a Vampire? or maybe a Djinni? Go figure. Whatever the case, it didn't matter: he was offering the chance of eternal life, and he alone. Now, would there be difficult lifestyle changes? The pale man had half the mind to ask the human if he had he not seen, with his own two eyes, the creature described in the note. The Lycan stepped forward to keep with the change of pace, casually deciding to nod for an answer, rather than to make a witty remark. He tucked the hand he had used to hold the note back into the warm depths of his long coat's pockets. He could feel the moon's glare upon his body, beneath his clothes and against his flesh; it felt like that "itch" or "tingle" that just wouldn't go away. It's influence over him was increasing as of late, with his steadily rising lust for the tender flesh of the living.
Minami kept his step in tune with Wolf's, following his lead to the very second. He listened to the sound of their shoes touching the pavement in unison, simultaneously listening to his newfound "ally" of sorts speak about his parents. His mother was connected to the mafia? Well, he could have guessed at what her son's profession was, then; he seemed to have that "smooth criminal" look to him, and not to mention, the gun residue that he could smell coming from his clothes was fresh. But when his last sentence dripped from his mouth his interest was piqued. "What are you talking about?" he asked, and in a tone that was pristinely suggesting that he was wary. "What, exactly, does that mean, Leon?" he asked once more, this time with a bit of a firm "push". By this point he was intrigued, and at the same time, disturbed to a minor degree. There was definitely something "off" about this person. But what?

Wolf had somewhat sensed Hide's distaste and adjetation. he almost believed that Hide had misunderstood his words. It hadn't been that Wolf had been so ignorant but he had wondered what the change would do to someones mentality, what would happen emotionally. He knew the obvious changing to a wolf like creature held enough of it. But between changes, would his father be the same person or would it alter him even then? These were some of the questions involving the change Hide mentioned, it seemed very perplexing.
As they walked Wolf laughed a bit at how instep they were, synchronization in the sound of there feet. He would eventually stop outside a small apartment complex and look at Hide, debating for a brief moment, contemplating what he wished to say exactly and choosing his words carefully. He decided to share some more about his life and see what the Lycan thought. "Hm Hide my dad is ex-military special operations. Since I was able to walk my dad trained me, military elite. I lost my mother at birth so in all honesty I had little else other then my dad and family friends to raise me." Wolf took a moment to scratch his forehead and lick his lips slightly. "So lets say there was many survival exercises. Hmm now my dad loves to keep things cool, but is quick to anger, but often secretive. Anyways one day he abandoned me in a very remote location. He told me to make my way to a radio station and to radio him for pick up when I arrived." Wolf sighed at the memory of a young teen in the wilderness with little more then a knife to live. And the events that he was about to tell Hide. "Anyways he told me to think of an allies and a code name by the time I called him. With that my dad left me out in the wilds with only myself. Wolf smirked as he paused and rotated his neck and shoulders. "Now here I am trying to make my way along in the world to a tower more then five miles away, When suddenly, not to far off a giant bear raises up on its hind legs. I looked shocked, I hadn't seen the bear some distance off. But then I noticed something very unusual. A two large wolfs were trying to take on this massive beast. Now Bears are heavy, a sweep from there claw could easily kill any wolf I'd ever seen." He nodded and looked to the sky a moment seeming to finish for a little bit before looking down with a confident smile. "In the end the bear died..I witnessed this almost unblinking. It had not been a whole pack but only one or two wolves. When I managed to the tower..I picked up the mic and spoke. 'Echo Foxtrot charlie...This is White Wolf calling for pick up. I repeat Echo Foxtrot Charlie' Well when my father finally came...He asked why I used White Wolf. When I told him he seemed surprised but then a smooth smile crossed the old man's lips." Wolf reached into his left right breast pocket to take out a flask which he drank deeply from before offering some to Hide. "'Well well young wolf, you have seen the root of your family in action then. You see Wolf in the old country it is rumored that we descended from Wolves, that the Wolf needed to walk..and so it did. One day the Wolf kind changed and stood upon two legs. But only in appearances. Leon..we have always been like the Wolves. Your great great grandpa would think he is one' My Dad laughed and patted my back. 'Well Wolf' He said to me 'I suppose you could not have picked a better animal. We may not change, but we often hunt like lone wolves. And even stronger in a group.' So that's my families little joke. That I was a wolf in the wrong body." Leon laughed a little before finishing. "To bad I wasn't born as a Wolf or like you. Seems like fun.." He then caught himself and looked apologetic, unsure if he insulted Hide at all.

The mortal's words were like a portal to the depths of his memory, a string of words that would thus make him remember the . Vividly -- clearly -- he could recall life as it had been without either of his parents, and the support that could have been present, were it not for their mysterious disappearance. True, he was adopted. He had discovered the greatest, the most important person to ever appear in his life to date; and it was true that this was only possible through the unknown fate of his birth-parents. But as much as he loved Yuki and as much as he appreciated her effort to take him under her guardianship, it was simply not the same as a -- for lack of a better word -- "real" parental presence. He could recount the times when he had spent the night, simply staring at the then vibrant sky of Hokkaido. It was not much of a parental love, more than it was a "true" love: the love of a couple. And for that, regardless of whether it was that his parents had abandoned him or not, he had to secretly thank them in the back of his mind.
A small gust of wind picked up as he listened to Wolf speak; one of those rare "puffs" that you could feel from time to time. When he heard the about the part involving the bear and the two wolves, he felt a twitch in the corners of his lips; a twitch that would ultimately begin the process of a frown. He didn't know what Wolf thought about the wolves being in this "remote location" in the first place, but that he should just happen to be there when it they were present was suspicious in itself. Hideki took the flask in hand, bringing it to his lips but stopping at the last moment; he didn't know what was in it and he wasn't sure that he wanted to find out: people had been known to poison themselves in order to build up a resistance to whatever the toxic substance was, only to drink the liquid in front of their unsupecting target in a false appearance of safety; and so he simply gave it back to him, the barest flicker of a grin on his lips, almost to a sarcastic degree. To Minami, it sounded as though his father had set the entire scene up. Was it that he had trapped those two wolves? and used them to lure his son into a story that did not have any validity whatsoever? Not even he had heard of a story like that, and he was a Lycan born and raised.
The thought occurred to him that perhaps he had been influencing Leon to feel a greater sense of a connection to his family: the military training that he had recieved during the earliest years of his youth would have, he was sure, left a lasting impression that would ultimately begin to evolve into resentment toward his father. Just maybe, he was trying to secure a better hold over his son's life; he was obviously interested in the supernatural, and so when the time came that he would be incapable of performing his investigations, he could rely on his child to take his place. So it was at the discovery of this possibility, he began to have second doubts about this "father" of his. In truth, Leon really had insulted him -- just not in the way that he may have originally thought. If, in fact, he did not suspect this very possibility himself, he was a little more naive than he originally led on. Nevertheless, it was none of his concern, save for the bit about the wolves; because if they were, as a matter of fact, Lycans, he had a bone to pick with this man. At the very least, if he granted Leon the "gift" of a new life, he could lead him to his father... and he would be able to judge him then.
"Oh, it is fun. Think of your strength now, and then think of doubling that strength or even tripling it. That, my friend, is a possibility," he said to him, the corners of his mouth lifting into a grin that would reveal a set of long, pointed teeth; a smile of a devilish sort. Though the mortal may not have been able to feel the moon's presence upon his body, Hideki did -- and it felt more and more like an itch or tingle, but only now it was beginning to lean toward more of a pleasant feeling. "Listen to me -- if you want your father to live, I can give you that option." Again, he attempted to persuade him. "There is very little to it. I will pass this gift to you, and you to your father, and all will be well." He inched closer, staring dead into his eyes. "Leon, when you feel the power of the wolf, you will realize that most of the things you thought impossible in this life, will become a reality... What do you say?" Somewhere above them he could hear a window closing, and the sound of a light fixture clicking off for the night. It was becoming late and very few would notice the event. It was his choice. He could take it, or he could leave it. But he could not guarantee any amount of success with his operation, nor the safety of his life, if he declined...

Leon watched as Hide seemed to change even as far as personality goes. He had begun to trust Hide, however with this new look in his eye, Leon could not. He just looked into Hide's eyes for a moment trying to decide on was driving Hide to offer such a wonderious gift. Leon then tried to think of what this might require, Surely there needed to be an equivilent exchange for such power. Leon knew he had to give something up for this but what could Hide possably want from him.
Now Leon was a doer kinda person, if you needed something blown up, Leon could do it. You need someone captured, torured or killed, Leon could do it. But what he didn't like was not having enough information on what he or someone else effecting him might be doing. Leon continued to search his head for ideas to this delema as he took a few steps back from Hide with extream calm. His eyes cool and collected. "Tell me Hide..how well can you control it?" There was the million doller question, Hide seemed highly agitated late into the night. It was possible that this change could only be delayed rather then controled. Leon aimed the question at Hide with a certin degree of intensity. Before commeting to anything, Leon needed more information.

He stopped for a moment, staring at the human with a partially opened mouth and one, long, ivory canine gliding atop his soft, wet bottom lip. "I did not tear your throat out when you saw me at the bar, did I? No. So take that as an example, and as a sign of my trust." He spoke as low as possible at this point, so that he would not be heard by any of the public, or, at the very least, not very many of them. There are some things that you should probably not discuss in public - period. It had now become just one of those cases.
"Is this your home?" he asked, gesturing to the modest building with a swift movement of his head and neck. His face lit up in the path of the headlights of a passing (and speeding) yellow Jeep and his eyes narrowed as a natural reflexive defense; but, he never did take his eyes off of the strong man standing in front of him. If he could find a place out of the view of the public eye, then perhaps he would go into greater depth of the "Lycan condition". Until then, however, he was not going to say another word on the matter. Once more, it was purely Wolf's choice.

Wolf took a look at the the apartment building set before him and shrugged. He seemed momentarily out of it, however when the car would drive by Wolf would reflexively reach for his jacket where he kept his fire arm. The movement more of a slight twitch rather then a cancelled movement. He gave a side ways glance to the passing vehicle and then returned his attentions back to Hide. Wolf would take the moment to pick his next words very carefully before he spoke again. His voice low keyed and soft, not a whisper however. His father once taught him that whispers carried further then if you just spoke in a low tone. "It is one of my homes, please come in." Wolf said after a small shrug before pushing the door open and walking into the building. He smiled walking up a flight of stairs quickly and digging into his pocket. Leon slowly pulled out a set of keys to which he would use to open the door to his quiet appartment. Though it didn't seem to be special at all Wolf had intended for it to look somewhat poor and not to his tastes. It was however well kept, the only odd thing was that it seemed to be sound proof to a degree. "Please Hide, After you and I'm sorry about the mess." Leon allowed Hide to enter first out of manners as he closed his eyes slightly and nodded.
