Kathrine walked in the park, the pale moonlight giving her skin a white cast. She looked up at the bright stars and sighed a little, her hands in her pockets. She had come to the realization that life bored her. The city was interesting, but to live there without friends meant you did everything by yourself, and that was no fun. She yawned slightly. She SHOULD have been in bed, but the truth was she had an affinity for the night air, and it made her feel good. She kept walking, not noticing the shadowy figures that stalked her in the darkness, attracted by the sent of her fresh, warm blood pulsing in her veins...

Celest looked up towards the full moon hanging above the sky and took one drag on her cigarette. She let the smoke invade her lungs and soon she blew it out into the cold night air. The vampire savored the brief warmth it gave her, making that stick of cocaine sort of a "life-saver" for her.
As she walked down the city park, the scent of her surrounding invaded her nose. The smell of the grass, the ground, the evening dew, everything was unique under Celest's sharp sense. When she took another breath, she caught the scent of a human.
Really, these mortals love taking walks in the evening when we hunt...
She took another drag on her cigarette and walked towards the direction of the human's scent.

"W-Who's here?"
Celest heard the human ask out in the night. She chuckles softy, hearing the slight tone of fear in her voice. A female human, wonderful...
When she was finally within the stranger's view, she slowed down her pace, her boots clicking on the cold ground, piercing the silence of the park. She smirked as the female's scent grew stronger at each step she took. She could feel her thirst building up but she stayed composed.
"Ain't it a bit late for someone to be strolling around the park at this time of night?" she asked in a low, silky voice.

Kathrine was a little surprised to see a woman, but she didn't relax. Something felt wrong about her. The way she walked, the way she spoke...it made Kathrine shudder, and she slowly started backing away.

Celest took one last drag from her cigarette and flicked it aside in an almost fluid motion with her fingers. A smile curled on her lips as she lifted her head slightly and blew the smoke into the air. She continued to slowly move nearer the girl.
"Alone or not, it's still dangerous to be around these parts, love." she said as she stepped into the pale light of the moon, revealing her flawless alabaster skin. The smile on her lips was gentle had a slight tinge of mischief in it. Her mismatched eyes scanned the female from head to foot, taking in every detail.
