Kain jumped to look at Zen and gave her a smile, for him it was big, however in reality it was small and smooth. Felt more like home with her around, she had become like his shadow, with out her he would feel dead after long peroids of time. Then with a quick wave of confusion on his face he looked at Orchid and then Zen, "Wait!?" He paused double taking them then looking at Orchid, "You know Zen!?" He laughed, how funny. Kain felt better then he could remember, it wasn't a secret as it might have been. With the big plot twist for today coming into light Kain felt like he had gained another friend, or a friend. This was a positive emotion. The two seemed friendly enough, but Orchid didn't seem dead to him, though flawless. Kain would laugh again and sit holding his bundle of items.

Zen would shift and slip over to Kain, seating herself almost behind him, kneeling. She ran her fingers through his hair, and beckoned Orchid to come forward with the drinks. Zen's skin felt much warmer than usual, seeing as she was using a special technique to warm her skin, unsing the blood that ran through her veins, though that was really all she had. She touched Kains cheek lightly, her smooth fingers slightly cool aginst his warm skin, but not cold like stone, nor ice. It was almost.. human. Her fingers ran over his shoulders lightly, and she pressed her lips up against his cheek, with a faint smile.

Orchid glanced at Zen and smiled, laughing lightly. Perhaps this was the famous familiar she had heard of from her underground sources. Orchid was.. like a secret agent if you will. She was secretly working with Zen, and her coven, helping seek out the lycans. Though it was a hard task for a simple human. She handed Kain the cup of steaming hot chocolate and smiled, sitting on the couch.
"A friend of yours Zen?" She asked smiling, Zen needed more friends... she seemed so.. lonely, and detached from the world, despite the fact that she was a vampire.

Zen wrapped her arms around Kain and kissed his ear this time, speaking with a grin that showed off her perfectly shaped, bleach white teeth.
"Kain here.. well you see, he is... My lover." She smiled lightly and wrapped her arms firmly around him, sharing his warmth, but not making him cold. She glanced at Orchid with her stale gold eyes, which for some reason.. had seemed to have lit up.
"Yes, Kain is my lover." She said again, in a firm voice that was not a whisper this time. She smiled, and pressed her smooth lips to his cheek again, and then once more.

Kain blinked, Zen's caresses always served to calm him completly and almost instantaneously. He could be fuming with rage, or he could be sadistically insane with that alter ego that seemed to boil over ofter. But when Zen was near he would come near and try to calm him, Kain melted at her touch almost immediately. And this time she felt so.....human so alive. He wondered if he had passed out at some point and this was a wondrous dream or even heaven. Kain would blink trying to focus, hard to do with the lips of an angel touching your skin expertly. He found he had not even the words to talk or utter anything. Mearly at the moment he was very content with Zen's tender caresses. Kain was about to answer Orchid's question when his heart came to a dead stop in his chest. Lover? was that what she had said? It became clear to Kain that he had pass out and died on the run for his life. But for dieing, it hadn't been that bad...at least not slow. And now he was in heaven, He'd sip from the drink and not do anything that could possibly remove him from the paradise. He was largely unsure how he made it to such a grand state as he was in now, But he would not question it for fear he would come crashing down and find hell was where he really belonged. Somehow, this moment in time, this perfect moment seemed to be what he had been longing for for such a very long time. As if all the pain he'd suffered had been exchanged for this one treasure of a moment. He felt so safe, so wanted. Not even a little hateful, not at the moment.
