Pure Blood Lycans:
Information
• When shedding their human form, they appear as a giant wolf, twice as big as turned lycans and much more powerful in most cases. Faster healing rate than a turned lycan and more acute senses than an untrained turned.
• A pure blood is usually able to change at will with ease, more so then the turned Lycans. This is due to being born a Lycan and having more practice then turned. Pure bloods are more likely to change during any given time of the moon cycle -- Most often closer to a full moon -- but have more control than a turned lycan over their turning.
• If a pure blooded Lycan infects a human, the human will change with in the hour, usually within twenty five to forty minutes. This only takes a bite or a scratch from a pure blooded lycan when in the form of as wolf.
Notable Features
• Longer Hair, or hair that seems to grow faster than anything normal. Often feels soft and smooth.
• Enlarged canine teeth, that seem almost like a dog's.
• Their nails seem to grow into points, and almost look like well groomed claws.
• Very acute vision and sense of smell, much more heightened than any human.
Weaknesses:
UV light - in large doses can cause illness in a lycan, or when exposed to the bright lights, can cause blindness.
Blood of a Vampire - When the blood of a Vampire is introduced to a Lycans system it is extremely lethal, when the blood mixes, it causes blood cells in the Lycans body to either Lyse and explode, or clot, thus the Lycans die. Vice versa for Vampires.
Silver - Silver is in various forms, and silver is lethal to a Lycan, seeing as it is like poison to their body. If inhaled, or injected into the blood, or ingested, silver can cause death.
How to identify a Pure Blood
• Enlarged canine teeth, that seem almost like a dog's.
• Nails that seem to grow into points, and almost look like well groomed claws.
• Very acute vision and sense of smell, much more heightened than any human.
• Large wolf form appears when they change.
• Change at will, they do not change annually like most people and vampire think they do.
• To vampires they have a much more earthy smell, similar to soil.
Turned Lycans:
Information
• A turned Lycan Is about twice to three times the size of an average human. Though their body looks to be the creation of both worlds. A turned Lycan looks to be more wolf than man, they maintain the ability to walk upright and move around much like humans do, but they can run like a beast on all fours.
• A turned Lycan has more problems controlling the shifting ability, more so if they tend to be an angry or violent person. A full moon often turns an angry person into a mad feral beast.
• Though they can spread the Lycan infection into other humans the full effect takes a month or more to kick in fully. The person infected by a turned lycan will change the very next full moon. In most cases during this time, they are hunted down and killed, either by a pack or a hunter because they are to hard to control once they change.
• A turned Lycan has greater difficulty mastering the new ability and must train to change at will.
