Her first steps off the plane and across the asphault had been boring as hell. The rest of the day followed the same way. No cabs available, no cars for rent and the smog was incredible. Her lungs were burning from the irritants in the air and all she could think of was how much clearer it seemed in the forest. Petty boredom urged her to run fast through the streets and clear her lungs of the toxins and enjoy the high from it all. Glad she had the minimum of luggage with her she slipped the backpack over her shoulder and took off at a quick pace. It was getting foggy and the air smelled of ozone from a coming storm that was moving in. As the wind whipped past her she raced off down a darkened side road following a vague smell of green plants with an underlying hint of old death. A cemetary loomed ahead of her just past the old churchyard. Well like she said, beggars cant be choosers and having no currency for a place to live yet with the expense of the plane here she would be forced to camp outside. Couldnt be too bad she'd been on the streets more or less for a while but things had gotten out of hand after that last job and her friend had given her money for a plane ticket and told her to leave. Hungry, cold, and now chilled to the bone she ignored the ache in her chest and headed to a back porch of the church. She pulled a blanket from her pack, and shrugged "Might as well sleep here, its at least got a roof over it." and lay down on the wooden porch and closed her eyes for a bit. Her ears listening carefully for danger.

bellina walks near by the cemetery after hunting for some food and shivers at the chilled wind that blows by. she picks up a faint scent of a lycan then looks around more alert of her surroundings now.she talks quietly to her self."i didn't expect to find a lycan while i was out..."a young couple walks by and she glances at them and wonders why they would be out so late at night. Then shrugs as im not hungry right now, then she focuses on the problem at hand and looks around smelling the air to see where the lycan might be so to aviod it or confront it with out starting a fight hopefully.belina looks at the cemetery and decides quietly to either walk by or go into the cemetery.

Night Wind woke as the acrid smell of death and stale blood tore through her sinuses. This wasnt a dream she knew that after hanging out on the streets trying to stay alive for nearly a week now. The stench burned the lining of her nose and she almost cursed aloud in disgust. She kept her eyes closed and listened carefully to the steps of the creature that neared her sleeping place. She couldnt just stay there and wait for whoever it was to find her. It was far too dangerous. It could just be another killer of sorts, and her hand strayed to the shoulderholster for a moment. Stopping herself so she didnt alert the one who approached she instead felt in her pocket for a small vial of holy water. Good she hadnt lost it in her sleep. Easing the blanket off her and shoving it into the pack behind her back she slipped one loop from a shoulder strap over her arm and held it in the bend of her elbow. She wouldnt put it on over her shoulder it would make her too slow to draw her gun. Standing up lithely with a predatory grace she stepped off the porch and moved behind the cover of some tall aspen trees that grew near the cemetary. The foliage was thick enough it would give her a little cover and the floor of the forest was merely dry dirt with not much ground cover in the way of live plants, just damp leaves. The nights fog was thinning off and made things silent and aided her in her search for annonymity. She watched the path that lead up towards the cemetary and the church. Who would this new stranger prove to really be? would it turn out to be a friend or was she going to be forced to kill someone to stay alive again. Thankfully her stomach was cooperating and not growling with hunger for once.

Tempting as it was to simply remain in the shelter of the forest Night Wind knew she couldnt just hide from everything if she was determined to make this her new home. But could she really trust this person? She moved a little closer staying hidden in the undergrowth and watched as the girl walked around. Nightwind's eyesight was excellent in the dark and she didnt need to see her closer to know she was armed and used to carrying a weapon. But then who wasnt lately. From all she'd seen in the years she had traveled it just wasnt safe to go anywhere without at least a knife. Even the regular ones, humans needed some form of protection though most she'd met took it all for granted. They still seemed to think lycans were a mythological creature from some old-fashioned bedtime tale a granny told you. Yet, Nightwind was curious and it had been sometime since she'd found someone who actually wanted to talk with her. Tucking her backpack into a niche in the tree she forced herself to move forward a little. "So you wish to talk, then do so. As long as you dont make any moves to harm me you're safe."

moves hand from weapon and looks towards where the foot steps were. "i wont hurt you as long as you dont give me a reason. she says as she stops where she is and leans against the church wall
" i was just walking by though and its been a while since i talk to anyone, I'm bellina by the way or you can call me bell for short."she says and wait to see if the girl will come out of hiding maybe.

With lupine grace and ease she moves out of the shadows a bit and looks over at her. The long black leather coat Nightwind wears is open in front for convenience. The dark tshirt and jeans she typically wears are dusty and itchy but she wouldnt show it. Instead she nods quietly to the girl. "Bellina. Nice name for someone who isnt human." Nightwind looked around to see if there were others with Bellina although she probably would have heard them by now. "My names Nadia Elena Fiorrelli. But I like Nightwind or Night better. Not so frilly sounding or stuffy like high society" Feeling more at ease she nearly moves closer but stops herself. She didnt want to antagonize her and besides she smelled really odd.

"May I ask what you are exactly? You're different from others Ive met here" Night walks forward a few steps more leaving a good three meters or more still between them. Standing at ease her muscles loose for a change instead of so tense she looks at Bellina. The woman certainly seemed friendly enough but so had the one that attacked her long ago. She still needed to be cautious with her but not mean. So she would only tell her part of the truth and see what Bellina really wanted. "Im new here and find myself alittle claustrophobic around all the people. So I decided to camp out here for the night and look for a better place in the morning"

looks at the sky and deter means how much time till sunrise it is before she has to go

She was a Vampire?!? Great just what she didnt need now something that could kill her knowing where she was sleeping and what she was. Bellina hadnt seemed dangerous or tried to do anything yet but who was to say that wouldnt happen if she turned her back for a second on her? She almost turned and left right then til she remembered how others had reacted back in her old town when they learned the truth about her. Of course it didnt help that someone had stumbled upon her when she had just come back from a hunt and still wasnt cleaned up all the way. Then it went worse from that point on until they literally chased her out of town, with a 'friend' shoving a plane ticket in her hand and they all put her on the plane. No goodbyes, so longs, I promise I'll write you, just 'hurry and go you'll miss the plane. Dont worry we'll pack your other things and send them off to you at your new home. Theres some money for food in your plane ticket folder' That was it. Nothing more was ever said. Of course she didnt ever expect to see her weapon collection again or her books, or her CD's from home, clothes etc. She knew them well enough to know they would sell it all or burn it when they had the chance. "Thanks Bellina, but I think I'll keep looking in town on my own for a place. Im not to partial to crowds so Im a little picky." She moved back to the shelter of the trees a little. "But if you want to talk you'll find me her sometimes when its quiet. Less crowded anyway and the dead dont make a lot of noise." Night smiled kindly to let Bellina know she wasnt upset she just needed time to get used to all this....lycan stuff. Hmm whoever thought Id wind up in a city with humans, and a vampire too. Odd yet interesting.

Well that was an odd conversation. Retrieving her bag she slipped into the forest by the cemetary as the sun began to rise overhead. Taking a worn path between the trees she followed it until it lead her over a stream and down to a paved road. Walking along the road she was able to make much better time and she found herself nearing the outskirts of town. A farm house lay to her right with its fields plowed and ready for planting in the spring, assorted farm vehicles dotted the yard and chickens clucked as they searched for a morning meal. Night Wind set off down the road past it looking for a place to get a quick meal before starting the day. She could see what looked like market stalls along the side of the rural road and as she neared them she noticed they were shut tight for the season. "Hmm must be vegetable and fruit stands for the farmers here. To bad there wasnt one open. I might have been able to pick somethings to help them harvest and make a little pocket money that way" She looked the stands over once more and then left.
