The image of a tall man loomed behind Korasu and the scene immediately went from calm to a mind-rattling frenzy. Celest debated whether to just run and take Kathrine to safety but when she saw Korasu's knees gave way, she curses under her breath, "Shit..."
With the hybrid down and with the man now setting his eyes on her and Kathrine, she knew this was not good. Using her inhuman speed, she dropped her guitar and tried to avoid looking at the man, although images started to form in front of her eyes and stabbing hot pain pierced through her chest and spread like wildfire through her body. She screamed in pain but then tried to refocus and clear her mind. With her sense of sight not working, she turned to her nose and took a whiff of air, and judging from what she had taken in, she pushed herself to make a quick roundhouse kick across her front, slightly tilted to the side. When she felt it hit something, she saw the images fade from sight and the pain start to ebb away. While readjusting her sight, she saw the man fall and she lunged at him, straddling his chest and steping her boots on both the man's arms quite painfully.
Celest drew out both her guns and aimed them at the man's throat, pointing up towards his head. Her eyes were blazing red with anger as she hissed through her teeth, "I'm at the end of my patience and I do not take kindly to people who are a threat to my friends' lives. This will teach you not to fuck with them for I will send you to hell myself. And one more thing, you made me late for my gig."
Her fingers were itching to pull the triggers of her guns, itching to just kill him out of anger. Would she dare do it now? She had him pinned and if he made any move all she had to do was move her fingers and he will be dead in no time. Inside, her mercy and anger were battling. She wondered which emotion would win.

He merely chuckles amused. "I'm only after her" He jerks his head to wards Kora. "no one else. I wasn't paid to hunt and track down down anyone else, Pure blood. Even if it is her fault our family..." He breaks off looking at her as she stirs opening her eyes slightly...
She slowly stirs, opening her eyes slightly "W-What..." She slowly tries to sit up, only to feel very dizzy so she lay back down still dazed "You-u used that...? I thought they wanted me dead not drugged Jamaul...." She tries sitting up again slowly looking at her cousin her face a look of hopelessness and pity... Slowly changing to surprise. He had the same eyes as she did... just jet black hair and a more masculine features but still... "And I always thought they were lying when they said we were so much alike.."
She falls silent seeing him shake his head looking amused "God you haven't changed a bit... except for the mental attacks your much better then from when I first tried to teach you at three" He then looks at the woman holding the gun. "Celeste now was it? Would you mind letting me go... I won't attack your human friend or any humans in the city. I just need to bring Kora back home with me" He smiles at her charmingly.

Kathrine was afraid. The gun in her hand shook as she aimed at the man Celest had pinned. "Go away...just leave..." She was pale, and their was a tremor of fear in her voice. She wanted to shoot the man until he died, reload, and shoot him again. She was terrified for herself and her friends.

Celest growled and still had the guns stuck up the vampire called Jamaul's throat. The urge to pull the triggers of her guns was stronger now, but she kept her control in check while she tried to speak in the calmest way she can, "Oh, so you're taking Kora back? How can I be sure that you won't kill her once we had our backs turned?" She was never the trusting type, for putting one's faith in another's hands can be risky business. It can get you hurt, or worse, killed. She shrugged off the male's smile and her boots stepped on his arms a little harder. "I think I'll let you off the hook once I hear Kora's answer. Besides..." She smiled quite menacingly while continuing where she trailed off, "I think I like it being on top..."
When she heard Kathrine speak, she knew the girl was shaken and she seemed ready to fire her gun anytime, although its effect might be minimal to someone like Jamaul. She leaned down slightly and hissed, "Oh, I think you owe my mortal friend, Kathrine, an apology for scaring her."

He starts laughing "I can't hurt Kora. Our elders payed me 5 Million just to bring her home. I get an extra 3 Mill. if shes unharmed, besides the sleeping drug." He shakes his head. "Besides, my uncle would never forgive me should I hurt her... He wants to do some things with her" He glances at Kora a odd look on his face to which hers goes white "I thought they banished him!!!! He'll-l..." she shudders "You-u know what he'll do to me if...." she shudders again to which Jamaul's face looks enraged "He DID THAT to you!!!!!! Fuck Kora if you'd told me earlier, he'd be dead." He then looks at Celeste "its settled then shes coming with me. Believe I'll make sure shes safe. If its one thing I more then liars, its manipulators. Kathrine I'm very sorry"

Kathrine looked at the vampire man, her face revieling her disbelief. She was glaring, and when combined with the scars on her face, it made her look harsh and cruel, and disrupted the soft, swet features of her face. "Yeah right, that's believable...first you tried to kill her, now you want to help her? Don't flip flop on us dirt bag!" She still had her finger on the trigger, and the gun was still aimed at his head. She was anry...she wanted to kill the man.

Celest had calmed down slightly but she was still on her guard. She had no clue what Korasu's uncle did to her but from the sound of things, it must be something horrible. She drew her guns slightly away from Jamaul's throat, just to not touch the skin of his neck, although still pointed at it. She sighed out and said, "Like I said, I want to hear what Kora decides on what to do. If she says she will come with you, I'll let you go but I'll be hunting you down if ever you backed out on your word; if she refuses, then we might think of another way out of this, Jamaul. My fingers are itching to move, you know."
Glancing for a brief moment at Kathrine, she could feel her anger boiling from where the teen stood. The gun was dangerous in her hands and Celest did not want to make this encounter a bloody one. "Stand down, Kathrine. I know you're mad, but we don't want to be hasty, love. Wouldn't want your hands to be stained in blood, would you?" she said in an almost comforting sort of way. Ah, the things a mortal can encounter for being snagged in the middle of the clash between immortals.

Celest removed her boots off the male vampire's arms and got off his chest in a swift, fluid motion once she heard Kora told her to let him go. It was all she needed, just the hybrid's words were enough; she was, after all, an easy vampire to talk to. Slinging both her guns with her fingers in a circle before placing them back in their holsters, she then said in a calm voice to Kora, "I hope so, Kora. And don't worry, I'll take care of Kathrine."
She turned her eyes at Jamaul and told him, "You better take care of her, if not..." She made a gesture of cutting across her throat to indicate he will be in trouble if ever he messes up. As soon as the cousins were gone, she bent down and took her guitar from the ground then slung it again over her shoulder.
She then drew her attention to the teenager who was backed up against the wall, shaking from head to foot and still with her gun tightly held on. Celest sighed and gently pried the gun away from the girl's hand, not demanding to have it, just waiting for the other to let it go. She then asked in a soft tone, "Are you alright? I hope tonight's events didn't disturb you too much."
With her other hand, she gently ran it from Kathrine's hair then to her cheek, caressing the silky tresses and the warm skin. She then remembered her gig, she was horribly late now, but she did not care, what matters now was the teen's well-being. Celest just hoped Kathrine was not scared out of her mind and would answer her.

"I just froze up...that's all..." Celest's hand had grazed one of the recently healed scars, and it served as a rather discomforting reminder that she was helpless compared to the vampires. "That gun...I couldn;t have even hurt him with it...could I?" She shivered and shook her head. "Forget it, let's go. You're going to be late."

She breathed out and said, "Well, I guess it can sting a little but it won't be enough to take down a hybrid. You'll be needing a special kind of bullet to be able to leave a mark on an immortal."
She backed away and sighed. She knew she was really late now, and she wondered what kind of rants she will be getting once she got to the bar. She just smiled and looked up the night sky, thinking, then finally declared, "I'm already late as it is. But since we did go out to have fun, I guess I can withstand a sermon from the manager. Celest walked along the street, twirling Kathrine's gun in her hand as casually as she can. She then handed it back to the teen without looking back at her and said, "No need to be sorry about anything. Actually, it should be me who should sorry. You've been dragged into this mess that's supposed to be the immortals' issues only. Forgive me." Her words were soft and sincere, she was really sorry about what happened. Celest was worried that Kathrine could be harmed whenever she hung around her. The option of staying away popped in her mind, but she did promise the girl she will stay unless the teen told her to go away. She was always true to her promises.
The danger of being caught up in the 'war' was either you get hurt, get turned or worse, end up dead. The first was fine, wounds can heal although the experience can be traumatic. The second two are a different matter. although Celest would rather not think about it. Being turned into her kind or a Lycan is a fate worse than death. And a lifetime being an immortal is no easy life.
