A lone masked figure walks the streets, his movements seem almost ghostly. Ike watched and listened carefully as he roamed alone. It was something he often did, patrolled the streets silently, looking for trouble. He felt it was his duty to keep peace. His vigelent eyes let little escape his gaze, his keen hearing tuned for any signs of distress. His lithe and agile movements gave little away. He wore dark colors to more effective blend in with the night. His hands deep in his pockets, like stranger who roamed the night just trying to keep warm. This was Ike Vanguard Kitsumayo, once a lone wolf. Ever now and then he would walk the streets, a mask over his face. Often known as the phantom, or specter for his ghostly appearance and movements. Over head a large hawk would fly around in a circle causing Ike to give a thin smile. "It's a quiet night...Hmm but that's how it should be.." He muttered to himself as he turned a corner. Crime had been slow the last few days, but the vampires were certainly more active, this was not a good sign in his book. He didn't trust vampires, Oh yes he understood that some could be good and some bad like humans. But he also knew they could be more unpredictable then humans. Vampire's recent activities had caused Ike to patrol more as he felt the city was part of his domain, His territory. Today he had stopped some thieves, they hadn't been good, Ike had only needed to surprise and dis-arm them before they had fled. He usually would let the small fish go as they usually got caught not long after he had run across them, or they would change and stop there ways. Humans got intimidated easily for the most part. The only exception was a hunter or a human who got greedy and thought he was god. As Ike walked around he smiled at the good weather, It was a clear night with a crescent moon in the sky. Though he had heard there was a possibility of rain. It seemed unlikely at the moment.

Kirre stumbled down the streets, cursing. She held her upper arm as it bled. She wasnt sure what to do, it was late, dark and she was alone on the streets, just narrowly escaping a bunch of men with her life. She had beaten them off her, then ran off as fast as she could. No wonder she hated humans with a passion; let alone men, for that matter. She leaned against a building, gasping and panting, gritting her teeth as the pain seared from the stab wounds, through her body like fire.
"Dammit.." She grumbled, looking around for a hospital or clinic. No luck. Kirre cursed and pushed on, her vision getting blurry from her loss of blood, why was the world so evil?

Ike heard mutterings and curses near by. The blood smelled to be human more then anything, and by the scent it was a female. There had been much blood spilled and most likely her wounds would be sever. Ike would run along the shadows, his movements lithe and gracefully with a ghostly swiftness. It was more like he was running along the shadows, as a part of them. This gave him the illusion of a black ghost floating along the path before him. Soon enough he would jump on a roof and look down to see the women, he would leap down and against the wall in an alleyway. His feet scraping against the brick wall to slow his descent before he hoped down on to the ground. Ike would then walk out from the shadows less then a yard behind the women.
Staying silent a moment he waited and scanned her with his eyes. How should he appear before her, he couldn't just wait for her to pass out from loss of blood. But walking up to her casually could also be a mistake.

Kirre continued moving slowly, her shoes scuffing against the pavement, she hissed and cursed at the loud sound, for it made her much easier to track her. She wondered if maybe the men were following her, waiting to pop up out of the darkness and attack her, most likely rape her. She had already lost everything she had with her, since she didnt want to risk her life for a silly purse. Not like it was a big deal, she could always recover what she had lost. Kirre stopped, her breathing heavy, almost panting. She cringed in pain, a sudden cramp on her ribcage, most likely cracked. She stood up silently and froze, turning her head quickly to catch sight of a shadow standing a few yards behind her. Her lips parted, as if she were getting ready to scream, but she had no strength to. She just stood there, unable to move, this was it.

Fletcher walked casually down the street seeming to be oblivious to everyone until he caught the scent of blood. His glanced around and began to follow the smell. As he got closer he also caught the scent of Lycan. His interest grew and he swiftly made his way toward the aroma.

When the women in front of him stopped Ike would as well. He meant no harm, he had to see to her medical attention, but people in her state where usually volatile and easily upset. He needed to keep a calmness about him and show he meant no harm, besides her panicking may attract unwanted attention that would be very bad. Ike stopped and stood there like a shadow, save for his mask he may have blended in just as well. Ike then would bow slowly with an elegance and grace smiler to a gentleman of old or given his appearance a benevolent specter from some old story book. He both frowned and smiled under his mask, he frowned because he could tell a vampire was stalking them and smiled because despite her conditions the women was very aware. Hopefully the one track them would prove to not be a problem and wouldn't interfere with his current mission in assisting the women. Ike tried to think of something to say. "I mean you no harm." He'd say in a whisper, but loud enough to be heard.

Fletcher turned the corner and resumed his slow, casual walk. He had spotted the two very easily. He stayed back a bit not wanting to cause a problem between him and the Lycan. He merely wished to observe the encounter. He examined the woman and noticed she was the one whose blood he had smelt. He continued forward slower and slower until he came to a stop and leaned against a nearby building. His eyes flickered back a forth from the Lycan to the girl. "I hope this will prove to be interesting," he muttered to himself. If not he had a few plans to make it interesting...

Kirre wasnt sure whether or not to trust the stranger, but she really had no choice. She stumbled and leaned against a light post, her hand held over her bleeding wounds. She winced and cried out in pain, another twinge of burning fire running through her thin body. She was loosing strength, slumping against the pole for support, seeing as she was loosing all her body's strength. She winced again, sliding down as the blood was beginning to pool slowly at her feet, she was getting closer and closer to death.

Ike would walk up closer, quietly with almost no sound when his feet touched the ground, he could no longer wait for her permission or for her to say anything to him. "I am Ike Kitsumayo.." He whispered on the night's cool air. He would hold his hands up to show he meant no harm to her before he pulled out a strip of clothe to tie around her arm to slow the bleeding, he would then shift to pick her up and support her in his arms, similar to how one's husband might pick up his spouse. His breath would stain the night air with a slight fog coming from his lips as he held her. "Ma'am I am taking you to a hospital." His voice held a regal accent to much in the way that one descended from royalty may speak in. He would look at her for a moment, his eyes looking at her from behind his mask. He would only wait a moment and then he would leap forward in long strides as he moved at a very quick speed along the shadows. He knew much blood had been shed and she needed medical attention right away. There was a reason he was sometimes known as a specter, his movements were ghostly and smooth.

Fletcher watched as the Lycan interacted with the woman and was bored at first until he heard the Lycan talk and heard the accent he spoke with, making the connection that the Lycan may be royalty. This sparked his ineterest enough for him to want to know more. He continued to watch and then moved quickly behind them, keeping a good pace as to not lose them but not fast enough to gain on them. He still didn't want to be considered a possible threat because he wasn't sure he could stand up to the Lycan if it came down to it. "Well my night won't be dull to say the least," he murmured as he followed.

Kirre couldnt even keep her eyes open anymore, she completely passed out in the stangers arm, as if she were nothing but a corpse, on the edge of darkness, just barely holding on. Her wounds were bad, bruises beneath her torn shirt, upon her frail skin. Her muscles were weak from the constant strain she had put on them, the reason why her body had become almost numb.
Kirre woke days later, her eyes blinded by the sheer white walls she was surrounded by. She heard a faint steady rhythm, a heart monitor. She struggled to sit up and looked around.
"Wh..Where.. am I..?" She shifted and flinched, looking down at the hospital gown she was in, feeling the bandages beneath. She looked at the I.V's that lead to her arm, providing her antibiotics and blood. She looked around, how did she get here..? She touched her forehead and grimmaced, trying to remember what had happened..

Ike had finally made it to the hospital, he had Cooley glided into the emergency room and had deposited her into the arms of a medical team. With his deed done Ike would walk out side into the cool night air, grateful the vampire hadn't interfered in his work. "Thank you sir." He would mutter in his regal tone.
Everyday Ike had returned to the hospital, he would at least like to make sure she was OK. And on his third visit she had stirred, he'd place a hand on her shoulder to keep her from doing any harm. "Relax you are in the hospital, I made sure you were well taken care of." He spoke softly, his voice fluid and smooth. "You were badly injured and near death." Ike would whisper and no longer wore a mask over his face, he was pale and looked a bit tired, his black eyes dull but caring. "My only regret is that I could not have been of assistance sooner." He would calmly exhale and step back a bit, his movements smooth and agile.

Fletcher stepped forward out of the shadows after the Lycan had finished. "You are most welcome," he responded in a playful non-mocking tone. He was now able to guage the size of the Lycan compared to his own size and saw that the Lycan towered over him. "How are you this fine evening?" he asked as he glanced here and there.
Fletcher had aslo returned everyday, not to check on the status of the girl, but to watch the interaction between human and Lycan. "I hope this proves to be worth the effort," he said on the day she woke up.

Kirre blushed faintly and looked at Ike, he had a handsome face, and such dark eyes.. She glanced up at his face.
"You save me?" She asked in a french accent. She watched as her moved back and winced, sitting up properly, "Please, don' go" she said softly, wishing the company to stay. Kirre didnt really have any family, and she was alone. She looked at Ike thankfully, forcing a smile.
"How I thank you?" She asked softly, seeming to have a little trouble with her english words. she then blinked and frowned, "Excuse my horrible manners, My name is Kirre." She smiled slightly again, her pale skin adorned with dark bruises, which she paid little attention to.

Ike stopped and looked at her before giving a calm and somewhat thin smile, it beset his smooth features and he nodded, "Then I shall not leave you." He enjoyed listening to her accent as it seemed to go along with his own, "Forgive me as well, I am Ike Vanguard Kitsumayo." The name would roll of his tongue in an elegant manner, "And it was both my duty and my honor to save you Miss. I assure you that you need not go out of your way to thank me. As I said..I'm just happy to have been able to help. I only wish I had arrived sooner rather then later." He nodded stepping forward again to where he had been before.
