Shiro stepped up the concrete steps leading to his apartment door. His room was located on the fourth floor, quite a ways up from the ground. He jangled and picked his keys from his back pocket and sorted through them, looking for his room key. He picked his key out as he got to his door and yawned softly, it was rather late out. He looked to the moon to judge the time... it seemed like 12:00 AM, or around that time. He turned back to the door and easily slid his key into the door and turned, the silver knob twisting slightly as the key turned all the way. "Home at last...."
He said softly and let out a soft sigh. Shiro then twisted the door knob and pulled it open, a kitten's small, black head poked out of the opening and mewed quietly as a greeting. He smiled and crouched down, setting his book to the side and pet the kitten upon it's head, she in turn mewed a second time from his affection. He chuckled softly and spoke, quietly and in a soft voice, "Hello there, Fauche," he smiled and picked the small kitten up within his arms, along with his book and slid into his room. He sat the kitten down with his book and flipped the light switch on.
His apartment wasn't that large, only containing three rooms, the bedroom, living room, and kitchen, the end of the hall lead to a balcony. The walls were of a white-tan color and his carpeting matched the same color. Little furniture was scattered in the living room, only containing a t.v. couch, and round table. His kitchen wasn't anything different, only difference was tile. He stepped into the kitchen and grabbed a glass cup from the cupboard and poured himself a drink from his fridge. Shiro walked down the hall to the balcony, the kitten following at his heels. He slid the glass door to the balcony open and stepped out, there was a small white, plastic chair in a corner with a glass round table placed in the middle. In each corner along the wall were two plants. He sat the his cup down and leaned over the metal frame, aligned around the balcony and watched the city lights from there, thinking about his day.

She looks up seeing a human and tilts her head wondering if she should talk to him out of boredom. She closes her eyes concentrating as her hair turn black, her eyes hazel, her face gaunt and pinched, wrists showing bones. Slips into the shadows going around a corner before walking down his street in the moonlight limping having torn her jacket and closthes to make them thin, She shivers violently and around seeming lost..

He sighed softly and looked down, he then saw a girl, frail and skinny. She looked beat up and blinked, "Who is she?" He spoke with a little panic in his voice, though more with worry.
She didn't look like anyone that he realized and stepped back from the balcony. Shiro rushed down the hall and out the door, not even caring if it was open still. He raced down the steps and nearly slid twice. He wanted to catch her in the alley before she continued on her way. He didn't want to lose track of her. He jumped down the last few and nearly stumbled, panting heavily and walked quickly to the alley to see if he could spot her.

She blinks still shivering violently in the alley as she hears a noise and looks up afraid, starting to shake. Looks at the man blinking as she hears his thoughts... hes only worried for me... She shivers agian as the wind blows hard, cold air stirring up leaves. She walks more into the alley way her teeth starting chatter from the cold. She looks at him wary, making her expression afraid "W-who.. are-e you-u, Sir-r??"

As she saw him, he noticed her body, she was rather skinny, like she hasn't eaten much in days... "You may call me Shiro..." He spoke uneasily as he walked to her quietly. "Are you hungry...?"
He extended his hand towards her. "You can come with me, if you wish... I can feed you.."
He hoped that she would take his offer, he didn't want her to starve herself for whatever reason she may have... At least, he could give her a little thread of hope, something that would allow her to continue on...

She blinks and takes his hand heistantly as she quitely speaks flinching afraid as if he'll hit her for shes covered in scars as well, "I-I'm Kora-a". She nods to his question quickly closing her eyes, her skin like ice so to her he feels like a fire and shivers a bit less. "Thank-k you-u Shiro-o-sama-a". Steps towards him quitely.

walks about near by in the shadows and yawns looks for something
to do."i wonder...is anyone out to talk to today..or is it dead on the
streets again"looks around till i come a cross the smell of a human.
"hmm interesting..."slow walk to where the smell of the human comes
closer but i keep my distance.

He quietly nodded, she felt like ice cold water, probably being out in this cold for so long, walking the streets... He turned slightly and started walking back towards the steps leading up to the apartment, walking slowly so she doesn't strain herself and looks at her hesitantly. He smiled slightly as she followed and spoke carefully, "This way, Kora-chan.."
As he walked, he noticed another person watching him in the distance... she didn't seem to be like someone that would harm him so he ignored it as he continued on his way, stepping up the stairs, "You'll be warm soon...."

quietly walks out of the shadows as i noticed koarsu"korasu!
are you okay..."i walk over to where they are and looks at koarsu
worried about her neice ,then looks at the human."did you find
her like this?"

She smiles at shiro faintly and blinks seeing her aunt. She looks at the building mummuring "w-what is t-that?" keeps shivering and tries to wrap her coat around her more though it still doesn't help. She touches the stone and her eyes widen at some memories, she jerks her hands away shaking. Watches her aunt and shiro wary.

He blinked and looked from Korasu to the other woman, "Y-Yes... I found her like this.. You know her?" He stepped back momentarily and watched them, wondering what would happen next. He saw Korasu suddenly jerk back and blinked a second time, "What's wrong..." a little concern filled his voice as he watched her trembling. He was worried for her, and wanted to help. He couldn't, for he didn't know what was wrong to begin with.

"yes..she is my niece..we need to get in side though...its going to rain

She looks at shiro then at aunt bell as she mummurs. "Don't let zen know please..." She looks at shiro-kun, "w-which apartment...?" she looks at the moon relaxing for a few moments. then closes her eyes shivering still... very hungray though she'll keep refusing to eat... She opens them tiredly "i-i'll be fine Shiro-san" she stumbles into the building.

He watched them and looked at the sky as she noted that it would rain. He saw clouds passing over the moon, but that's all he could tell. "Come with me.. You can stay at my apartment till the rain subsides.."
Shiro started up the steps to his apartment. "Follow me..."
Once he got to his floor, he noticed that his door was still open and sighed, everything came back to him, how he rushed from the balcony and to down the stairs to the alley below. He hoped that Fauche was still there, she's a good girl, but he knew she was a curious kitten. He wondered if she ran off somewhere and stepped into his house, glancing around for Fauche.

Follows him the best she can not wanting to touch the railing and blinks seeing his apartment "i-its huge-e" she sees him looking around "m-missing anything-g?" She has almost stopped shivering by now and steps into the apartment softly. She hums softly a lullaby to keep calm. as she looks around she blinks.... it was so diffrent from her home....
